Fibre Line Under Repair
We have been made aware of damage to the Trans-Labrador fiber optic line that could be causing interruptions for both landlines and internet service throughout the community.
Our Emergency Services telephone line 709.925.3333 is currently in service, however, as repair work is ongoing, this line could be interrupted at any time. Using 911 is encouraged as these repairs are being conducted.
It is expected that restoration of services will be sometime throughout this evening.
