As we acknowledge Canada Day, we will, most importantly, take time to reflect on the recent tragedies in Residential Schools across our country, to honour our indigenous communities.
Here are some ways we can all honour and support our Indigenous communities.
Fishing Derby Day at the Tailrace from 11 am to 4 pm
Fish from shore or from your boat. Two fish combined weight.
Weekend Fishing Derby
Begin fishing on Friday, July 2 to Sunday, July 4. Bring your fish for weigh-in at 4:30 pm at the Tailrace.
A BBQ pit will be available. Feel free to bring food to BBQ or try out your freshly caught fish!
Fireworks @ 10 pm at Curling Club Parking Lot
Please do not park vehicles near Town Centre, but enjoy from a distance.
