In recent weeks our province has been seeing a decrease in COVID-19 cases and as a result we are beginning to see the lifting of some social restrictions. While this is a positive way forward, as a community we still need to remain vigilant with COVID-19 public health guidelines and preventative measures.

At Churchill Food Co., it is increasingly becoming apparent that some patrons have been demonstrating a relaxed approach to our establishment’s COVID-19 prevention measures. Some examples are not following directional aisle arrows and non-immune compromised customers shopping during the time that is dedicated to high risk customers. We have also asked that patrons consider only one household member to shop at a time. This helps to decrease the number of people in the store at one time, especially on customer limit days when other customers are on an entry waiting list.

We urge our valued customers to be reminded of the measures we have in place in accordance with the guidelines set by our provincial Public Health Authority. These measures are in place to protect you, our staff, and our entire community from the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. Please be mindful of these measures and understand that our staff is responsible for ensuring customer compliance under the provincial Public Health Authority and are required to ensure enforcement.

Your cooperation is vital to reducing the potential spread of COVID-19. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and joining us in our efforts to reduce potential community spread.
