Need to discard an old vehicle?

Did you know that discarded or abandoned motorized vehicles are harmful to the environment? As they begin to deteriorate, parts such as batteries, paint, and tires release harmful substances into the environment. Additionally, liquids such as oil and battery acids could seep into the ground and contaminate groundwater.

We recognize there could be residents who have old motorized vehicles, including snowmobiles, quads, and motorbikes, that they would like to dispose of—and we want to help. Over the coming months we will be offering a service to collect your discarded vehicle and properly disposed of it for you.

To request a removal, please click here to submit you request. Requests will be accepted until September 10. Once we receive your request, we will assess the removal requirement and contact you with the collection details. In some circumstances, it may take up to a few weeks to hear from us as we will require time to assess property and\or location to ensure safe and successful collection.
