In January 2012, 14 year old Burton Winters of Makkovik, died after walking 19 km from where his skidoo became stuck in on the ice near his home. Each year we remember and honour Burton with a 19 km skidoo ride. Donations are graciously accepted and will be given to the SPCA in Burtons name. *Helmets are required for all drivers and passengers.
