Fire Ban

FIRE BAN – EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Through careful consideration of fire events in recent weeks and the length of time remaining in the fire season, a FIRE BAN is in place for the Town of Churchill Falls and surrounding area. A restriction on ALL open and closed fires is effective immediately.

This will remain in effect as long as the Fire Index Ratings are between High and Extreme.

The ban will be lifted only when these ratings fall within the Low and Moderate index ratings. This will remain in place to the end of the fire season.
